About Me

In Dec 2024, I was admitted to hospital with symptoms that marked the beginning of a life-altering journey. Over the following months, I underwent extensive testing and was eventually diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in March 2025. Since then, I’ve been navigating the complex and often overwhelming world of treatment options — including gamma knife therapy, endovascular procedures, and open brain surgery.

This process has been as emotional as it has been clinical — filled with uncertainty, fear, and endless research into what the “right” path might be. Through it all, one of the most difficult aspects has been the solitude of decision-making in the face of major neurological intervention.

I’m here to connect — with patients, academics, and medical professionals — and to offer honest support to others facing similar decisions. Whether you're newly diagnosed or supporting someone who is, I hope to share what I’m learning and help make the journey a little less isolating.
